The dragonfly was chosen to represent Kazerin because of its symbolism in the far east. Japanese legend claims Japan used to be called AkitsushimaIsle of the Dragonfly. They revered the dragonfly as a symbol of strength, enlightenment, success, and happiness.

I see it as a symbol of transformation and light… which just might be the best path towards accepting change and maturing because of it.

It is said that people who have the dragonfly as their totem have had emotional and passionate early years, but as they get older they balance their emotions with mental clarity and control. The dragonfly symbolizes the process of going beyond limiting self-created illusions toward a mature sense of self.
